Various Funding Opportunities Available to Students – Apply Today

Scholarships and grants are a simple way to pay for your education without needing to repay the funds. As a student at the Academy of Radio & Television Broadcasting, you may be eligible to receive funding through a scholarship or grant. Check out the available funding opportunities below.

Scholarships

The Academy Award Scholarship ($1,000)

To qualify for this grant, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Proof of a High School Diploma or Successful Score of the ATB Test.
  • Complete an application for admission.
  • Complete a scholarship application.
  • Proof of total household income is less than $85,000 per year.
  • Present a Letter of Recommendation from High School Teacher, Guidance Counselor, Mentor, Community Organizer or Employer.

A maximum of 50 applicants per year will be awarded The Academy Award Grant. The applicant awarded will receive the following award: reduced down payment from $3,900 to $3,400, plus $1,000 off total tuition. Total Grant value is $1,000. The balance of the down payment ($500) will be added to the program tuition cost. Students who drop from the program or do not graduate from the program will lose the scholarship and be responsible for the additional tuition.

Grants

Veterans Appreciation Grant ($2,000)

To qualify for this scholarship, the applicant must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Proof of a High School Diploma or Successful Score of the ATB Test.
  • Complete an application for admission.
  • Complete a scholarship application.
  • Provide evidence of active duty, National Guard or Veteran status. Spouse and/or dependents may also qualify.

A maximum of 50 applicants per year will be awarded The Veterans Appreciation Grant. The applicant awarded may select the educational program and receive the following award: reduced down payment from $3,900 to $2,900, plus $1,000 off total tuition. Total Scholarship value is $2,000. Students who drop from the program or do not graduate from the program will lose the scholarship and be responsible for the additional tuition.
